Buffer synth:
Writes the input audio to a buffer and them lets you 'play' it (i.e. control the size of the buffer, and the speed at which it's played through) - works best if you've got a MIDI keyboard connected. I know the name's a misnomer, but I couldn't think of anything else to call it.

A fairly lo-fi effect. When you send it a MIDI note, it will play back the contents of it's buffer at the note's pitch. allows you to grab the incoming audio stream
and save it as a WAV file. It does also include a
