Dimensions provides design of audio, video, broadcast and acoustics for sports, arts, and worship venues worldwide with offices in Dallas, New York and Coventry. Our focus is on the experience. We offer an integrated approach to the design of acoustics and performance technologies so that your facility supports the experience for both artist and audience. Acoustics:
Acoustics deal with the manipulation of the reflection and absorption of sound within a space. We work with the architect to determine the basic room shape, size, ceiling heights, seating and surface finishes so that the correct balance of reflection and absorption meets the performance needs of your space. We develop clear construction recommendations for incorporation into the construction drawings to achieve quiet interiors by minimizing external noise and noise from heating and air conditioning systems.
Audio:
Quality audio systems are key to music and speech presentation. Not only do we define loudspeaker orientation and placement, but we also work with you to design control systems to meet your specific needs. Ancillary systems, such as cueing, paging, background music, assistive listening systems for the hearing impaired and simultaneous translation systems, are also part of our services.
Video:
The integration of video into today’s market continues to press the boundaries of technology. It is exciting to see the dynamic use of large screen video displays in stadiums, interactive video kiosks in theatres, retail environments with sophisticated MATV systems and video projection providing presentation support in churches. We work with you to design solutions for video projection, video production, distributed video and large screen video and scoreboard design.
Lighting:
Lighting can deliver much more than illumination. It can provide impact to a performance, and it can animate architecture. We design systems to meet the needs of stage productions and video broadcast and to produce a “sense of arrival” in lobbies and common areas.

BV Oorzaak is gespecialiseerd in geluid, geluidsadvies, geluidsontwerp, geluidstechniek en audio trainingen.
Rob Acket en Cees Wagenaar werken meer dan vijftien jaar samen als geluidstechnici en geluidsontwerpers. Highlights uit hun loopbaan zijn talrijke musicals voor Joop van den Ende, de theatertours van De Nieuwe Snaar, het geluid voor Opera in Ahoy', openlucht projecten rond klassieke muziek (de Grossophoon) en geluidsanimaties (Van Stilte tot tot Chaos). Vele organisaties maken gebruik van de advies afdeling en de In Company Trainingen.
In 1997 gaven zij aan hun samenwerking een nieuwe vorm: BV Oorzaak. Acket en Wagenaar zijn twee geluidsmensen met respect voor elkaars oren. "Er zijn maar weinig geluidstechnici die met elkaar kunnen en durven communiceren over wat ze horen, die van elkaar begrijpen welke klankkleur ze nastreven." Wagenaar en Acket hebben elkaar daarin gevonden. Zij brengen een schat aan kennis en vaardigheden mee. Wat voor hen de normaalste zaak van de wereld is, is voor anderen vaak een eye-opener
Als er iets te zeggen valt over hun eigen-aardigheden, dan is Cees Wagenaar de enthousiaste conceptbedenker die altijd blijft vragen en fantaseren, en is Rob Acket de creatieve doener die met beide benen op de grond blijft staan. Bij elkaar staan zij voor een unieke combinatie van diensten op het gebied van professionele audio.
