Jester Jigs began when founding member, guitarist, and lead
vocalist Matt Blauss started jamming with drummer Matt Whitty, with Jason Gammon joining them as the second guitarist. When original bassist Josh Haltunan left the band Matt blauss's brother Sean Blauss took over on bass. Shortly after Jason took over on drums, forming Jester Jigs as it is today. The trio has performed under various names, most recently as strick IX, before changing the name permanently to Jester Jigs....

With a CD that is packed with mature, well written radio friendly songs, the general consensus is that they fall comfortably into the same ballpark style-wise with bands such as: U2, Matchbox 20, Train, Vertical Horizon, John Mayer and Gin Blossoms to name but a few....
