Route 1 Recording was founded in 1996 by Chris Hudson, (CEO, Back Dog Records) and is located in Monticello, MS in the the middle of 300 acres of raw nature. Having been in business for only three short years Route 1 has quickly earned a reputation as "the place to be" if you want to avoid the often sterile environment of conventional recording studios and the hustle and bustle of metropolitan areas.
