Alcons Audio is a Dutch company, active in development and manufacturing of professional sound systems for quality-conscious clients in the cinema, installation and touring industry.
Although the company is recently established (October 2002), this doesn’t resemble by far the companies experience in the pro-audio market; Each of the team members has, in average, 15+ years experience in the different aspects of development, manufacturing and marketing of professional sound systems.
All Alcons speakers and amplifiers/processor are developed and manufactured in house with traditional craftsmanship combined with the latest technologies, materials and production processes. This brings a very high quality product with very low depreciation cost; An important factor in today’s pro-audio market, where equipment is seen as a ‘money-making tool’, instead of a ‘money-costing hobby’.
With this in mind, Alcons Audio does not strive for revolutionary ideas, but for evolutionary solutions instead, with an excellent sound and product quality. With focus on compact and smart products, with maximum flexibility, because a product is more than only the technical specifications. Responsive technical support is essential for making sure the system gives maximum performance in the client’s application; That’s why the Alcons Audio team puts strong emphasis on offering technical back up and support.
The R&D department of Alcons Audio features a unique combination of extensive know-how in transducer-, acoustics and system design, as well as DSP and amplifier technology. This combination has led to impressive products, such as world’s first long-throw ribbon-loaded SR system, modular DSP-controlled directivity line-array a.o.
Alcons’ products are designed to provide the most accurate sound reproduction possible, without adding any unwanted colouring or distortion to the original input. It’s a way of preserving the artist’s creativity.
Professional Sound Manufacturer, Meyer Sound, Speakers, Sound Reinforcement, Live Sound.
Established by John and Helen Meyer in 1979, Meyer Sound has been at the forefront of innovation in audio engineering for over two decades. From the outset, Meyer Sound looked beyond loudspeaker cabinet design to create totally integrated, systems-comprehensive solutions that encompass transducer design, signal processing, power amplification and even electroacoustic measurement systems. As a result, Meyer Sound's engineering teams have earned an enviable reputation for developing unique, innovative solutions to some of the most difficult problems confronting audio professionals.
In fact, it is fundamental to John Meyer's philosophy that no component of a system should be compromised in order to compensate for variables "upstream" or "downstream." Instead, the entire system should be conceived, designed, tested, confirmed and manufactured as a whole to provide the optimum blend of audio fidelity, utility and long-term reliability ...

Since 1990 the trend towards entirely digital audio devices has been obvious and analog inputs and outputs have gradually become almost extinct. All QUANTEC products are designed to incorporate the latest engineering trends. All have EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) incorporated directly into their multilayer PC boards (distributed capacitors) using micropitch technology, as well as surface-mounted SMD components. All basic functions and algorithms are incorporated into special chips, which cannot be copied - Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).
QUANTEC products draw on 2 ideas patented by Wolf Buchleitner. All new QUANTEC products meet the legislative standards of current electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) legislation and bear the CE logo and declaration of conformity. In the case of our broadcasting center clock tree components, our standards are indeed set far higher than the legal requirements. We regularly demonstrate that EMC is never left to chance at QUANTEC through spectacular high-voltage demos at trade fairs ...
The current switch from analog to digital technology has created a particularly acute demand for professional audio equipment. The current rapid expansion of the field is driven primarily by this demand. The market can be divided into two broad sectors: on the one hand »radio and TV broadcasting,« and »others« Those »others« include:
recording studios,
dubbing studios,
music venues and theaters,
movie studios,
and providers of turnkey sound engineering services.
NTI AG is a leading manufacturer of test instruments for the professional audio industry, the broadcast market and the loudspeaker industry. The headquarter is based in the Principality of Liechtenstein (Europe). NTI has offices Oregon (USA) and in Tokyo (Japan).
NTI has over 25 years of experience in designing high precision audio test equipment, such as the very well known Audio Graph Series - dual domain analyzers (consisting of the A1, the A2 and the A2D) and Rapid-Test Series - voice band generators and analyzers (consisting of the RT-2M and RT-2X). In cause of a management buy out in March 2000, the new Company NTI AG has been founded out of the audio measurement division of Neutrik AG.
In 1998 the development of the famous Minstruments series rocketed. NTI successfully launched its first member - the audio generator Minirator MR1. This success was exceeded by the introduction of the analog audio analyzer Minilyzer ML1 in 2000, which surpassed all expectations and won many International Industry Awards for its outstanding innovation and technology.
These tributes encourage NTI's team of engineers to develop and supply the market with a continuing flow of state-of-the-art measurement solutions.
In 2001 the series was enhanced by the MiniSPL - a sound pressure level meter, and the Digilyzer DL1 - a digital audio analyzer, like the Minilyzer, a one-hand-operation tool. The further implementation of the USB interface MiniLINK for the ML1 & DL1 enabled the documentation of all audio test results to computer and online data-logging.
The recent development living up to the goal of NTI is "PureSound". It is a modular firmware extension for the Rapid Test series. This includes comprehensive functions for the test of communication devices and transducers on the production line, featuring Rub&Buzz testing, sound correlation and click detection. NTI provides various ready-to-go test software supporting the production line testing with the Rapid Test Series, such as speaker/transducer or mobile phone testing.
