Description
Distroyr is a free stereo distortion VST effect which features a range of different algorithms which effect and generally distort the incoming audio, depending on the settings you can have analog sounding warmth to your sound to very heavy clipped and crushed sounds. There is a total of 7 different distortion processes including feedback, signal clipping, bit crush and valve distortion to effect your sounds.

RubyTube is a real time, digital tube amp simulator. RubyTube simulates the saturation effect that can be found in audio equipment with vacuum tubes. This effect is usually hardly noticable but it is responsible for the classic tube sound. Sometimes its just a sparkle on the voice and a slight compression of drums and bass that makes the difference between a neutral recording and a warm and full sounding song.
Simulating tube sound with non-tube equipment is difficult but it is possible. RubyTube is not the first such simulator but compared to other tube simulators and distortion units, RubyTube has a very high resolution and a well-balanced spectrum of harmonic distortion.

4. g-amp lite
G-amp lite is a light-weight Virtual Guitar amplifier. It is based on the sound of an over-driven triode valve (tube) pre-amp. The distortion created by the simulation creates mixed order harmonics (both odd and even), a varying duty cycle, and becomes more harmonically rich with increased gain, as you would expect in a real valve guitar amplifier.
