B Brass:
a simple model using enveloped noise fed to a single resonance (tuned delay) after a tuned amplitude modulation to emulate lip vibrations used when playing brass. except for the lack of feedback used to emulate the length of the tube, it is similar to the model discussed in depth at http://www.sospubs.co.uk/sos/1997_articles/jul97/ronberry.html the result is capable of producing very brass-like tones, but is far from convincing in all but the most occluded circumstances, with careful sequencing. up-front, can have a very warm, pleasant and mysterious sound that wavers between woodwind, brass and synth. 'growl' functions emphasize the low fidelity by manifesting overt digital quantisation.. perhaps occasional subtle use.. if you try, attempt smooth (no growl) with muting filter modulation.

Hahaha CS33 Evolution Edition: This is a special version of the CS33, skinned for use with the UC33 hardware controller. A matching template for use with the UC33 is included in the packlage.
One of the aims with the CS33 design was to provide a maximum "Synth-in-a-box" feel when used with the UC33. You can program patches from scratch never looking at the screen until it's time to apply the final touches - expression controller tweaks, FX settings etc. The identical look of template and GUI also means you don't have to do a "mental re-map" every time you switch from looking at the screen to looking at the controller.
Apart from the GUI and layout, the Evolution Edition is identical and patch-compatible to the Standard Edition. Since they share the same VSTi ID, many VSTi hosts will only allow one of the plug-ins to be present in its plug-in folder(s).
DEsAMPLE is quite a basic synth but with alot of x-mod/osc/filter and lo-res/bit reduced possibilities. At the moment it has no midi control of parameters, but it can be automated within software app (VST/Fruity Loops/Ableton Live/etc)
