I build my guitars one at the time using mostly traditional methods and materials all in great respect of the "old masters". At the same time I hope to keep an open mind about modern "improvements" in accordance to what is being expected from a concert level classical guitar at the beginning of the 21st Century.
I strive for the same sort of refinement and a level of workmanship that I have seen in the work of makers such as: Antonio de Torres, Garcia and Simplicio, Hauser Sr. in Germany, Daniel Friedrich in France and modern U.S. makers such as Jeffery R. Elliott and Robert Ruck.
If you are looking for an instrument where you can sense this kind of passion for the work that has been put into the instrument, then it's your turn to contribute with your love for playing the guitar. I look forward hearing from you ...
Meine Arbeitsweise beruht auf traditionellen Verfahren, Werkstoffen und Materialien. Die Instrumente werden als Einzelstücke gefertigt mit dem respektvollen Bewusstsein, in der Tradition großer Meister zu bauen. Gleichzeitig versuche ich dort für moderne 'Verbesserungen' offen zu sein, wo sie sinnvoll sind hinsichtlich dessen, was von einer klassischen Konzertgitarre im 21. Jahrhundert erwartet wird.
Ich strebe nach gleichem handwerklichen Niveau und der selben Art von Verfeinerung, wie sie in den Arbeiten von Gitarrenbauern wie Antonio de Torres, Garcia und Simplicio, Hermann Hauser hier in Deutschland, Daniel Friedrich in Frankreich oder modernen amerikanischen Bauern wie Jeffery R. Elliot und Robert Ruck deutlich werden.
