The equipment manufactured holds a high degree of quality construction and attention to small details.
When in the Autumn of 2000 Sergio Castro contacted Alejandro Díaz, looking for a cabinet maker to build a new pair of Reflexion Arts Monitors (designed by acoustician Philip Newell), a new cicle of collaborations between both companies started and soon led to the birth of a new company: Artesanía de BluesBox S.L.
W&dB had been dedicated for several years to the design and manufacture of loudspeaker boxes for installation and small PA. Reflexion Arts commemorates in 2004, 20 years of an intense carreer of investigation and development on studio monitor systems, whilst building at the same time some of the best European studios.
In 2001, W&dB attended the Madrid Broadcast show, invited to the Reflexion Arts booth and in 2003, both companies attended together with a much larger stand.
From then on, it seemed that creating the new company was the logical step forward: Artesanía de BluesBox. One of the first products introduced by the new BluesBox brand was the BB412, a guitar speaker box, of conventional layout, but with highly impressive specifications. So impressive that blues guitarist Javier Vargas considered it "The Rolls Royces of guitar speakers".

Jünger Audio was founded in Berlin in 1990 and specialises in the design and manufacture of high-quality digital audio dynamics processors. The name of Jünger Audio became synonymous with the "Dynamic Transponder" which was introduced in 1991 and was sold extensively to recording studios, television and radio broadcasters. Since then, a unique range of new digital processors have been developed to meet the demands of the professional audio market.
The first digital dynamics processor, the Model d1 was introduced at the 1992 Tonmeistertagung in Germany. This device quickly became established in mastering studios in Germany and throughout Europe. By early 1994 there was a whole family of Jünger Audio digital dynamics processors, the d01, d02, and d03 which are used by a growing number of prestigious international studios and broadcasters.
At the 1994 Tonmeistertagung the Model c04 a/d/d converter was launched providing Audio Data Packing, a process which allows the storage and recovery of 20 bit audio signals on a 16 bit storage medium. Since then, a complete range of Audio Data Packing products have been developed.
In 1995 the d05 digital transmission processor was launched. This device was designed specifically to provide high quality dynamics processing for FM radio and television transmission. Many units are now in use throughout Europe, Asia and the USA.
The e07 digital filter processor was introduced early in 1996 offering internal signal processing with double the sampling rate for the first time, resulting in a digital filter that sounds as good as the best analogue filters.
Jünger Audio products are being used in increasing numbers for audio signal processing in the video production environment. Released late 1996, the new Digital Toolbox range provides four-channel digital audio processing, ideal for the video environment. Currently comprising the Model b40 mix-matrix and level controller, the b41 limiter and b42 dynamics controller, more products to meet the needs of the video environment are planned for 1997 ...

James Bullough Lansing was born James Martini, 14 January 1902, in Macoupin County, Millwood Township, Illinois. His parents were Henry Martini, born in St. Louis, Missouri, and Grace Erbs Martini, born in Central City, Illinois. The elder Martini was a coal mining engineer, and his work required that the family moved about quite a bit during Lansing's early years. Lansing was the ninth of fourteen children, one of whom died in infancy. For a short time, Lansing lived with the Bullough family in Litchfield, Illinois. He later took their name when he changed his from Martini to Lansing.
Not much is known about Lansing's early days, and we are indebted to Bill Martin, one of three surviving brothers, for providing most of the information presented here. Lansing graduated the eighth grade at the Lawrence School in Springfield, Illinois. He also attended the Springfield, Illinois, High School. Later, he took courses in a small business college in Springfield.
As a young lad he was very interested in all things electrical and mechanical. At about the age of 10, he built a Leyden Jar which he used to play pranks on his playmates. He also constructed crystal sets, and at one time, probably about the age of 12 or so, built a small radio transmitter from scratch. The signals from this set were apparently strong enough to reach the Great Lakes Naval Station in Illinois; naval personnel determined the source of these signals and later supervised the timely dismantling of the young Lansing's radio transmitter ...
