We operate out of about a 2000 sq. ft. space in a building located in Reisterstown, Maryland. All the instruments start as rough slabs of wood and are painstakingly machined by hand, using templates and pin routers. Many of our tools have been custom made or modified to accomplish certain tasks accurately and efficiently (i.e.-24 fret fingerboard slotting saw, fingerboard radius sander, custom neck router bits, etc.). I handle all the business related issues and am involved with overseeing every part of the production of the instruments. I also tend to be in the spray booth and the assembly room quite a bit. David DeMarco is the chief design, prototype and production engineer. Brian Burton and Darren Schillaci are the production managers.
1990 was the year I actually started making a few bass guitar sales in the local market place. I slowly and steadily increased the sales by word of mouth. It was a great feeling when I made a sale or when I saw someone on stage playing one of my instruments ...

Donmo Resonator Guitars:
I started my musical career as a harmonica player at high school. My first band, The Mecca Powerhouse Five featured amongst other things, washtub bass, washboard, and the “Drainola”, a piece of plastic drain pipe played via a trombone mouthpiece. The bloke who played it had perfect pitch so we used to tune the guitars to the drain. For a while we had a jug player called Grogan but one night he passed out from hyperventilation and retired.
Our attempts to go electric were thwarted because no one was old enough to drive a car. The bass player bought an amp and we had to get it to our practice room some three or four kilometres away. We decided to push it through the streets on its castors. The roads were so rough that the speaker cabinet fell apart en route and so the washtub survived a little longer.
I moved on to sing, write songs and play guitar and, in the very early 80s formed a band called The Bodgies. We started out doing Hound Dog Taylor, Elmore James and John Lee Hooker type stuff in a funny sort of punk/Delta blues style that was so unique that we became quite popular despite the prevailing “haircut” new romantic culture ...

The FRAME GUITAR represents the successful synthesis of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. The radical design, reduced to the essential components, has been leading to exceptional tonal capabilities, which provide the ideal prerequisite for outstanding electro-acoustic performance. The FRAME GUITAR makes a difference. It's probably today's finest and best sounding electro-acoustic guitar.
The FRAME GUITAR was developed by german luthier Frank Krocker who draws on more than 15 years experience in building high level classical guitars. At that time nobody expected the FRAME GUITAR would turn out to become something so exciting! At present the FRAME GUITAR's versatile uses are appreciated by professional guitarists of all musical styles, including many of world's best known and most respected artists ...
