Description
The Centurions continue to travel the southeast singing, witnessing, and praising God. Established in September 1971, Ronnie and Joette Carroll founded the group as a ministry with the purpose of spreading the word that Jesus saves and forgives. Joette is blessed with a worship spirit and vocal clarity and smoothness that can only be a gift from God. Ronnie has a unique style and range that can fill in on any part and yet provide the smooth harmony required for Southern Gospel music. Wayne Langston, enhances the group with a wonderful worshiping spirit, and a dynamic lead - baritone voice that presents Jesus as Lord and Savior to all. Together their harmony, testimony, and presentation opens the door to worship. Yes, they have their light hearted moments, but they also know how to sing with the power of God in their voices. Willis Canada has traveled for over 25 years spreading the love of Jesus Christ through Southern Gospel Music. He is the recipient of many prestigious honors and awards: WHO'S WHO IN SOUTHERN GOSPEL MUSIC, 1996 Commissioned Colonel for the States of Kentucky and Georgia, an Honorary Alabama Colonel, a Colonel, Aide-de-Camp from the Governor of New Mexico, Certificate of Special Commendation from the Governor of Virginia, an Ambassador of Goodwill Award from the states of Arkansas, Mississippi, and Florida, and honorary citizen of the states of Oklahoma and Lousiana.
Willis has apppeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network ("Love Special" hosted by NANCY HARMON), He has appeared on The Gary McSpadden Gospel Hour from Branson, Missouri and on the hit show Swann's Place. He has also appeared with Dr. Pat Robertson CBN Regent University Performing Arts Center, Virginia Beach, Virginia. A wonderful Christian singing couple, Ron and Sandi Carter from Curran, Michigan. Lite Contemporary, Southern and Country Gospel Music.
Our Mission: Proclaiming the love of Jesus. Touching hearts and reaching the lost for Him. Encouraging the body of Christ to keep pressing on.
We started singing gospel music together in 2000 as a husband/wife duo. Prior to this, Ron traveled throughout the mid-west for several years sharing music with a gospel group. Sandi sang in church as a youngster.
Both of us came to know the Lord at a relatively young age but through various trials and tragedies in our lives we drifted away. Then by the grace of God and through more tragedy we both came to know that He is our only hope.
Since our marriage in 1989 we’ve known God had a plan for our lives, we are seeing the fulfillment of that plan through changed hearts and lives. We both feel very privileged that God has entrusted us to minister His unconditional love to His children through the music that He instills in our hearts. God is truly an awesome God… This ministry isn’t about recognition for us. It’s about our Dad (our Heavenly Father) our love for Him and sharing this love with others, hoping that others will also come to see that He is the only way ...

Kenneth and Kathy are the founders of Living Through Him Ministries, Inc., established in 1990. Reaching out to those in our inner cities, with clothing, food, toys and Christmas gifts.
In 1992 Ken and Kathy hosted two radio broadcasts in Metro Detroit, bringing teaching, prayer and testimonials as a ministry to the body of Christ. They are both affiliated as Ministerial Members in good standing with the "Lester Sumrall Evangelistic Association". Kathy is an ordained member of the clergy, also holding credentials with Morning Star Fellowship of Ministries, and Ken is a licensed "church worker".
Kathy has served in leadership, and hosted an evangelism cell group within their home, bringing teaching in pastoral care and equipping the local church in the area of evangelism.
In January of 2001 & 2004 Kathy attended Sinai-Grace Hospital for Clinical Pastoral Care (CPE) training. During July of 2001 Kathy was employed by Project Compassion Ministries, Inc. A ministry that provides pastoral care for the elderly. In 2004 Kathy was employed by Sinai-Grace hospital as Contract Chaplain. She has held various positions in the health care industry, including currently working with the Healthcare Christian Fellowship of Michigan, training volunteer chaplains in metro Detroit.

Junior Hawkins & the Gospelaires: Thanks for visiting our web site. As the fall season approaches, we look back and see how God has moved for the "gospelaires" this year. Time is slipping by, and holidays are upon us again. We are seeing changes to the ministry, and the bible says, "To all things there is a season." After much prayer, Kim decided to leave the ministry, but felt she needed to spend more time with her family and also work in her home church. God has allowed us to meet Amy Hill from Winston Salem and she is now offically a member of the Gospelaires. Amy has a great talent and a great testimony for God. We believe that God sent Amy to us.
