Drumatic 3 is a virtual-analogue drum synthesizer
All sounds are 100% synthetic and allow an enormous flexibility and variation.
Sounds: Bassdrum, Snaredrum, Handclap, 2 Toms, Hihats and a Rimshot / Bell.
Key features:
Graphical envelopes for amplitude and modulation
Load / save presets for single sounds
Simple but effective effect section for each sound with distortion and bitcrusher and a filter.
6 Stereo outputs, assignable for each sound.
All parameters can be automated (midi-CC not yet supported).

DrumTrig - Drum Sound Replacer
By using this plugin on single drum tracks like Snare or Kick you can replace the sound with any sample (.WAV file) you like. Great if you've tried everything to salvage a poorly recorded drum sound and got nowhere!
If you like this plugin but fancy something a bit more sophisticated, have a look at Drumagog. It's not free but it has a lot more features.
Controls:
WAV - The sample to play when the unit is triggered
Threshold - Signals above this level will trigger the unit
Retrigger - A time delay between triggers, to stop false triggering
Output - The overall volume of the sample playback

This document introduces cesSynth5, a VST2 plugin which models a flexible analogue drum synthesiser. The synth offers the following features:
Three oscillators, two offering tuned waveforms, with the third offering noise.
Separate envelope generators for each waveform, with individual decay rates.
Distortion control for the tuned oscillator waveform.
Low pass resonant filter.
Multi-timbral operation.
This synth is unusual in the way it responds to note information. The synth does not respond to the note value, only the note velocity. To select different sounds, you must use the multi-timbral feature of the synth. By default, the 16 midi channels map to programs 1 to 16 in the loaded bank.
The unusual part of the synth is that changing the program in the bank through the GUI does NOT change the program which the channel is using. This allows you to change the settings you are viewing without affecting the sound which is being played.
