Erratic
Description
Erratic is a drum sample player with some added 'randomising' features to give variation on every cycle. The randomising is adjustable for each sample and can be switched off if desired. You can independantly adjust the randomisation of;
- hit probability for each of the steps in the sequencer for each sample
- hit velocity spread for each of the steps in the sequencer for each sample
- pitch variation for each sample
- swing (hit timing variation) for each sample
- swing on a global level (in addition to the per sample swing)
In addition, you can adjust
- hit velocity for each of the steps in the sequencer for each sample
- volume, panning and pitch for each sample
- minimum value for velocity sensitive lp filter cutoff
- global tightness (reduces the per sample swing)
- number of steps per bar (measure) 12/16/24/32
- step sequenced drum sample player
- 8 sample slots output to 8 stereo channels (multi-out)
- plays 16 & 24 bit mono & stereo wavs
- 12/16/24/32 step sequencer
- velocity, hit probability and velocity randomness per step
- pitch and swing randomised per sample
- velocity sensitive low pass filter per sample
- global randomised swing
- play samples through step sequencer and/or midi notes
- midi trigger to play partial patterns

Ordinate: a probability sequencing drum sample sequencer. each step has 3 sample-outcomes (eg. use same sample at different volumes) plus silence.. the sliders set the weight of each per step.
3 programmable patterns - the fourth sequencer sets probability to switch between them at another timing resolution, so you can eg. program your 'fill pattern' to be more probable every 8th measure. 'muchacho' effect is intended to be a companion for this generator.

The Demo version of Addictive Drums is a fully functional software!
You can load and save presets, get a taste of the Beats and Fills (Midi Library) and tweak away on the built in insert effects and reverbs etc. It includes some tasty presets that give you a good idea of what AD is capable off.
It is not time limited. Use it as much as you want whenever you want.
Limitations:
Only 1 Kick, 1 snare, 1 Hihat and 1 Crash is provided.
The real version ships with lots of different drums, cowbells and cymbals.
A very limited "taste" of the rhythms in the AD Midi Library is provided.
The real version has over 3000 Midi files.
