Description
The FRAME GUITAR represents the successful synthesis of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. The radical design, reduced to the essential components, has been leading to exceptional tonal capabilities, which provide the ideal prerequisite for outstanding electro-acoustic performance. The FRAME GUITAR makes a difference. It's probably today's finest and best sounding electro-acoustic guitar.
The FRAME GUITAR was developed by german luthier Frank Krocker who draws on more than 15 years experience in building high level classical guitars. The whole thing started more or less by chance in 1995, when a customer asked for a high quality classical guitar, of compact design, for performing and traveling purposes. At that time nobody expected the FRAME GUITAR would turn out to become something so exciting! At present the FRAME GUITAR's versatile uses are appreciated by professional guitarists of all musical styles, including many of world's best known and most respected artists ...

Modular Electric Guitar - MEG - the ultimate guitarist's tool.
In February of 2001, Mark Hendrickson acquired patent # 6,194,644 on a stringed instrument entitled Modular Electric Guitar, with MEG as its trademark name. It marked the most significant advance in the evolution of the electric guitar in five decades. Four years in R&D resulted in an instrument unsurpassed in sustainability, playability, ergonomic body-hugging comfort and user-directed innovation.

MEG's components are precision machined by North Central Technology located at the University of Minnesota Crookston Campus's Valley Technology Park. They are then finished and assembled by experienced craftspeople at Stringtime Music, a longtime maker of fine acoustic and electric instruments located in Bagley, Minnesota. MEG draws its infinite array of body designs from sculpted domestic and exotic hardwoods. Each is a work of art.

* Interchangeable neck modules— standard, baritone, 12 and octave 12
* Four neck profiles—elliptical, oval, wide and narrow
* Custom electronics and pickup selection
* Custom and production body styles
* Component loaner program— fastest delivery

MEG's builders pride themselves in their ability to hand craft the finest and most innovative electric guitars in the world—at a price accessible to any serious guitarist or collector. Like our technology, MEG's website is changing constantly. Please visit us often.

The two famous brothers, Porfirio Delgado Flores (Pilo) and Candelario Delgado Flores (Candelas) were born in Tarreon, Mexico in the state of Cohahuila. Candelas was born in 1911and Pilo in 1913. As young men, they began different careers. Pilo began to work as a cabinet-maker and Candelas began to work as a guitarist and singer in Guadalajara. Later they sang together and were known as "Los Hermanos Candelas" (The Candelas Brothers) and in 1928 construction began of their own instruments in their home. The brothers organized a Cuban-style band called "Son Torreon" and made all of the instruments for the band members. Candelas has been credited by many with making the first "cut-away" guitar for their band.

During the years they operated the shop in Juarez, they made guitars for Mario Moreno "Cantinflas", Miguel Aceves Mejia, Marcello Chavez, "TinTan", Hermanos Villa, Los Hermanos Flores Los Tres Cahelleros (who played in various Walt Disney films), Trio Urquiza, Pepe Gamboa
(a custom three-neck guitar) and Eduardo Ruiz (who played lead for Desi Arnaz) ...

Our mission at Millennia Guitars is to offer well built, great sounding imported guitars with outstanding features at prices that will make you smile!

We take the specifications of some of the major companies top selling models and we ENHANCE the quality of the tone woods, fret markers, tuning hardware and electronics to build a better guitar at a savings to you. We DO NOT believe in 'stamping out' guitars like the brand names at costs of less than $100 per unit and selling them through retail stores for $500-$1200+!

As we step into 2005 we are marketing our instruments through partnering with performance artists who are on the verge of major recording contracts. They expose our instruments to fans and profesionals who we hope will see the superior quality of our products and want to play a Millennia!

We are interested in long term, sustained growth through quality, integrity and passion to sell a guitar because it is superior not because we want to make a 'quick buck'.

As we roar towards 2006 we will be developing relationships with companies from Europe and Asia and will act as their representative in the United States to distribute other superior quality guitars!

John Monteleone Guitars: Maker of very fine performance archtop gitars, flattop guitars and mandolins.
My first childhood encounters with a guitar began with a horrible excuse for a guitar which stood in a corner in our family dining room; a cheap Harmony acoustic archtop model, It had three or four of the blackest, rustiest, and nastiest strings ever seen on any guitar. It was dangerous enough that it could have sent its victims to the hospital for tetanus shots. Since it was of no use to anyone I took it downstairs into my laboratory where I conducted an experiment which tool, only a minute or two. I was only twelve. I wound up with a round house swing and smashed it to bits around a lally-colum. It was perhaps the best sound that it ever made. It produced a pile of interesting splinters of spruce and maple and at the same time revealed the inside of this lousy guitar. I then realized that there was a reason for all of these things and the inside and that it was somehow important to the sound of any guitar. This was an enlightening experience for this curios twelve year old boy ...
