I developed a numerical model of the guitar capable of synthesising the sound of plucked notes, and investigated the differences in tone that result from changes to the guitar body modes.

Making music is magic. It is more than just hitting the right notes; there is something human that is thrown into the mix that allows the notes on the page to live. It is transcendent.
For me, making guitars is the same. In the beginning there is the craft in the workshop, but in the end the soul of the maker is reflected in the instrument.
And with any great instrument, the soul of the player will shine brighter in the music.
