Js compresseur: La limitation n’est plus aussi brutale qu’avec le limiteur et suit une loi exponentielle. Le niveau max est fixé à 0 dB. Le contrôle du gain permet de plus ou moins amplifier le signal donc de plus ou moins le compresser. Réglage du point de compression et niveau de sortie.

3. gmax
GMax is a maximizing limiter. It is designed to boost the level of the signal without letting the peaks exceed a given maximum.
The Gain parameter sets the desired boost in volume. The signal will be boosted by this amount before going into the limiter.
The limiter reduces the signal level as necessary to keep it below that specified by the Ceiling parameter. The Release parameter sets the time taken for the limiter to recover after turning the volume down.
A meter is displayed on the GUI showing the gain reduction applied by the limiter. The resolution of this meter is 1dB per bar.
Parameters
Gain: The desired gain applied to the incoming signal.
Ceiling: The maximum output level.
Release: The release time.

Js limiteur: Très simple. Le Threshold regle le niveau maximum de sortie. Il suffit donc de regler le gain du Master un peu au dessus du Threshold et hop plus de craquement abominable lors des pics du signal.
