Gold Vacuum evaporated Melonex membrains, critically tensioned & heat treated to ensure extreme stability over many years. Each hand-built Capsule has over 250 matching operations.
Valve (tubes for you people in the US) electronics feature a selected triode impedence converter, with current feedback driving a large expensive transformer.
The mic exhibits a smooth extended high-frequency response with good front to back rejection.
The power supply is fully smoothed and regulated. A prescence switch and a 10db cut are incorporated. Fixed cardoid directional pattern.
