17th Street Guitars is an exciting new manufacturer of electric guitars and basses located in Santa Monica, California. 17th Street's guitars have the playability of a modern instrument with a classic look and sound. Whether you play country, jazz, bluegrass, or speed metal, 17th Street Guitars offers versatility in every guitar we produce.
17th Street Guitars was started when Dave Levine had been struggling to find a guitar that could meet all his needs as a player of both Hard Rock/Heavy Metal and Country Music. Having played guitar for twenty-three years, Dave was certain that the perfect instrument did not yet exist. With some research behind him, Dave contacted friend and fellow musician Colin Liebich to discuss the possibility of a new guitar company venture. With his business and sales background, Colin was in and 17th Street Guitars was born.
With the input from several professional players and co-engineered with several veterans in the luthier business, 17th Street Guitars set out to not just build a better guitar, but to build a better guitar that has a purpose and a place with today's musician.
