Description
Vicky is renowned for her powerful, hauntingly unique voice, full of light and shade and combined with excellent phrasing capabilities you can hear every word she sings. Her self penned lyrics result in catchy, heart felt songs that capture her audience. Her main inspirations being, Tori Amos, Ani Difranco and Eva Cassidy.
Jay is a fantastic funky 6-string custom warwick bass player, he plays his bass as you would a lead guitar with equal amounts of rhythm and flavour, giving his music some soul. playing professionally for a number of years has seen him play for various funk, rock, metal and cover bands. His main inspiration being Stuart Zender, Glenn Hughes and Ryan Martinie.
Natural rhythm led to Carl playing drums and percussion, notorious for 'bringing down the house' with his groove, he started by playing pots and pans! His adventurous nature saw him embark on a spot of world travelling, drum sticks to the ready he played at various jam sessions across the globe and with many local cover bands. His main inspirations being Vinnie Colaiuta, Ian Paice and David Garibaldi.

ANUBIS SPIRE was formed new years day 1998 after an chance jam session the night before. Made up of musical veterans who wanted to write and play music in the mid-seventies style of such bands as Led Zeppelin, Mahavishnu Orchestra, etc., the band set about melding it's various influences and adding a heavy dose of world and ethnic sounds and a 90's twist to the mix. The debut CD-OLD LIONS(in the world of snarling sheep) was recorded in a barn, on an antiquated 8 track almost entirely LIVE! They are currently recording their new CD-CHILDREN OF A FOREIGN FAITH for release.

vocalist Matt Blauss started jamming with drummer Matt Whitty, with Jason Gammon joining them as the second guitarist. When original bassist Josh Haltunan left the band Matt blauss's brother Sean Blauss took over on bass. Shortly after Jason took over on drums, forming Jester Jigs as it is today. The trio has performed under various names, most recently as strick IX, before changing the name permanently to Jester Jigs....
