Marsland Recording Studios is the brainchild of David Marsland, musician, composer and software engineer. He decided in 1995 to create the ultimate home studio for himself, but he needed an engineer. Enter Al Grunwell, audio engineer par excellence. After running CALF Audio in Ithaca, NY for many years, working with luminaries such as Martin Simpson and winning the Crown PZM Recording Contest Pop Category every year it was held, Al agreed to come and preside over Dave's projects and outside clients.
