Kaz Goto takes charge of design and all composing process.
Akiko Oda takes charge of painting and all finishing process.

It was in 1968 when Manuel Raimundo decided to try luck creating his own manufacturing company of musical instruments together with two colleages, Jesús Grau and Antonio Aparicio. He only had some years of experience, which was acquired in a similar company, and a farmhouse belonged to a parent. Few months later the first staff started working in production and administration as well as helping his first agent, Salvador Cortina, thanks to whom the company got its first important costumers.
During that time the company started to participate in the first fairs than took place in Spain. This event helped to get new costumers and also made popular "Raimundo’s" name in all Spain. In a few years the national market was not enough and they decided to try luck with the internacional market, with the advantage that they had met foreign costumers during several fairs. This new market requested higher quality instruments, what supposed an important challenge for the company.
It was in 1974 when they started to visit the most prestigious international fairs, Frankfurt, Paris and Los Ángeles, to get new costumers. After the first experiencies they decided to visit only the Frankfurt’s fair, because it was the most important one in the world. Since then, they have participated in every celebration of this fair, expanding continuously the products range and exposition metres.
In 1980 the company had a staff of twenty five workers and they made twelve thousand instruments a year. The company expantion, made years before in the old facilities, was not enough. They expected to grow in a short period of time and the company was moved to the present facilities in Polígono Fuente del Jarro (Paterna), which is one of the most important ones nowadays in Europe. They bought two adyacent plots with a total of 4.000 m, using 1500 m to make the instruments ...

Since 1976, I have been building acoustic guitars. During that time, I have been blessed with many excellent teachers over the years. Probably the most influence, and longest relationship, was with Richard Schneider. I studied with him in the summer of 1983, but maintained frequent contact with him until his death. Since 1986, I have focused on classical guitars in the Ramirez tradition, as produced in the mid-1960s. The woods I use are primarily Brazilian Rosewood for the backs and sides, and Western Red Cedar for tops. I am also comfortable using Redwood and Spruce for topwood, and Cocobolo for the backs and sides. I also build Kasha Model guitars and a Modela Alemán model, based upon a 1943 Hauser Sr. guitar. The Modela Alemán can be built in traditional woods, or in other woods. Please contact me for information about commissioning your own Beltran classical guitar ...

McSwain Guitars: Guitars, guitars, guitars… they’re everywhere. The electric guitar has been around for something like 50 years and hasn’t changed much at all.
Tired of seeing the same old guitars, artist/luthier and musician Stephen McSwain decided to create a new breed he likes to call "functional art." Each instrument is hand made, one at a time, and has unique characteristics that make it a highly collectible guitar or piece of art, depending on how you look at it.
It all began many years ago with a Dremel tool, some Exacto knives, artistic and musical aptitude passed along and nurtured by Mom and Dad McSwain, and a whole lot of patience and persistence. The first guitar body was purchased from a guitar parts supply company as a completely experimental piece. Stephen started carving faces into the wood & eventually ended up with the guitar that is now in the possession of Steve Vai. That was number 0001.
It all takes place in McSwain's laboratory (basically a converted garage) in the heart of Los Angeles ...
