Lutherie simply means
working with wooden stringed instruments.
I am primarily engaged
in the repair and restoration
of wooden stringed instruments.
I devote perhaps 70% of my time to working in the world of bowed instruments, with the rest of my energy allotted to fretted instruments and a few others, like harps and so forth. There are a few instruments I do not work on, like harpsichords, bandoneons, winds, and midi electric guitars.
I have been a professional luthier since 1963. After thirty-five+ years, the workload from my established clientele is fairly brimming. Nonetheless, I still manage to squeeze in interesting projects here and there. If I can’t fit them in, I can and will happily recommend one or another of my esteemed colleagues ...

Mis instrumentos desde el año 1988 se basan en modelos Stradivarius, Guarneri y modelos personales; desde 1998 hasta el año 2000 los violines que construyo son modelos "G.B. Gagleano" y Alfredo Del Lungo y en la actualidad desde el año 2003 están basados en modelo Stradivarius sobre todo en el año 2004 siguiendo las formas del Stradivarius "Medici" de 1716 Las violas son modelos personales y Alfredo Del Lungo, de diferentes medidas entre 40 y 42 cm. Los violoncello son modelo Stradivarius; utilizo barnices al alcohol y al aceite de colores amarillo-naranja, naranja -rojizo y en algunas copias Gagleano son de color rojo-marrón anticado ...
