Welcome to Sexton Custom Guitars. In this day of computer created guitars having an instrument that was hand made just for you is even more special than in the past. Not that I have anything against CNC created instruments, it's just that that are all the same. Most entry level guitars today are far better that they were in the past. That's a good thing. There's nothing more discouraging to some one who's just learning to play that an ill playing instrument. So from that perspective it's a good thing.
Once you get beyond that initial learning period and begin to really enjoy playing you may want a guitar that's more tailored to your style. That's where people like me come in. I build guitars one at a time from the finest material I can get my hands on. We will discuss what you like and don't like about your current instrument(s). Communications between the builder and the artist is the key to you getting what you want. As hard as I try my mind reading abilities just don't cut it ...
