The "multibandringmod I" is a multiple ring modulator based on frequency selection.
It selects from the signal 4 frequency bands - Low; Middle Low; Middle High; High. Each band is modulated by the signal generated by the sum of the other three bands. Due to its structure it works better with complex sounds, e.g. drones.
Features:
4 selectable frequency ranges: Low band (250/500 Hz) - Middle-Low Band (500/2000 Hz) Middle-High Band. (2000/8000 Hz) High band (7000/16000 Hz).
Selective ringmodulation source for each band.
Additional gain for each band.
Mute-solo-bypass for each band for better control of the ringmodulation process.
Main Wet/Dry & gain controls.
Midi Learn (Please note that in SE edition you can automate and also customize parameters of only Low and Mid-low bands).

BJ Ringmodulation generates it's output by multiplying the input signal with an oscillator. The output of a ringmodulator contains none of the original frequencies. This makes ringmodulation suitable for metallic, science-fiction effects. It also has the option to use 6 different waveforms and to modulate the ringmodulators frequency and depth with an LFO. This gives you almost unlimited possibilities of making weird effects.
