Park Hill Music: Gwen Gordy was the spark and catalyst behind Motown Records' rise and her brothers, Berry Gordys', early success'. Her love and friendship was also the inspiration which ignited Park Hill Music Co. She continues in spirit to inspire us at Park Hill Music Co. The Gwen Gordy Studio is large enough to accommodate groups from a 3 piece power trio to a 35 piece Big Band or Orchestra. The room includes a 1902 Steinway 6' 10" Model B Grand Piano and Hammond B3 and BV organs with and a variety of Leslie organ speakers. An extensive selection of custom and vintage guitars and amps also grace the Gwen Gordy Studios.

A# Sharp Recording Studio is one of the few remaining large recording studios in Sydney, but at a small studio price. Over 200 CD's have been produced at the award winning A# Sharp by Owner/Producer/Engineer Jeff Cripps. He gets involved in the project - "he's not just a button pusher" - ensuring the sounds and performances are the best! The studio is 24 track analogue, 32 track digital, with 3 separate live recording rooms.

The vibe of a studio makes a difference. In a relaxed, comfortable space, it's alot easier to record your music.
We have 2 main rooms, the first room is 16 by 25 ft. with 2 iso booths. The second room is 12 by 25 ft. We can for instance mic 2 guitar amps separated, bass guitar, mic a drum kit, and vocals at the same time.
Here we give best of both worlds - analog and digital. Our sound is right in between. When a sound is converted from an analog signal to a digital signal, a lot can be lost. That's why we use some of the best Analog to Digital converters available today - Apogee AD16X converters. Once it's in the digital realm, it stays there until it's put into your CD player at home. The HI-N-DRY studio was founded by Mark Sandman. Some truly magical recordings have been made here. Morphine, Twinemen, Kris Delmhorst, Bill Morrissey, Bourbon Princess, Jimmy Ryan, Maybe Baby, Caged Heat, the Downbeat 5, Scissormen and many other bands from within and outside of the HI-N-DRY community have enjoyed the live energy and warm sound that’s the room’s forte. Vintage amplifiers and guitars as well as an excellent, well-maintained piano are available. HI-N-DRY also has an outstanding collection of microphones. Recordings here are typically made on either HI-8 format digital tapes or direct to hard drive, but analog tape recording is also available ...
