Description
Mario Barisic: A guitar playing fanatic Mario is brand new guitar player. Many years he is trying to find his own sound and expression, now Mario is near that achievement although that is infinite trip...Mario is a modern guitar player, fusing the elements of rock, blues, progressive, metal, alternative and creating a distinguishing signature. Most important for this guitarist is emotional performance and melody.
He claims to be more of a blues-rock player, it was the influence of jazz that led him to the style of playing and composing at the moment...

Nuno Duarte Gil Mendes Bettencourt:
guitar, music (extreme).
Guitar virtuoso Nuno Bettencourt made his name with the eclectic pop-metal outfit Extreme during the height of the guitar-shredder era, and embarked on a solo career after the band's breakup. As a soloist, Bettencourt's most immediately recognizable influence was Eddie Van Halen, but as a songwriter, he might draw from Queen, the Beatles, Prince, and anything in between. The youngest of ten children in a musical family, Bettencourt was born Nuno Duarte Gil Mendes Bettencourt in the town of Praia da Vitoria, on the island of Terceira in the Azores (an archipelago governed by Portugal) on September 20, 1966. His family moved to Boston when he was four and he began playing music as a teenager, trying out drums, bass, and keyboards, but settling on guitar. Bettencourt played in several area bands, sometimes with his brothers, and joined Extreme in 1985; after becoming quite popular locally, the group signed with A&M and released their debut album in 1989. Three more albums followed, plus a number one pop single in the acoustic ballad "More Than Words," before the band called it quits in 1996. In addition, Bettencourt produced and guested on the second album by Australian hard rockers Baby Animals in 1993; the following year, he married the group's lead singer, Suze DeMarchi ...

Pat Kirtley is a gifted performer who combines a rich musical heritage with masterful contemporary technique on the acoustic guitar. This National Fingerstyle Champion’s musical roots are from the southern country and bluegrass tradition, but it is his original material that places him on the cutting edge of new acoustic music. His repertoire is one that defies categorization, weaving tunes into a tapestry of folk, pop, celtic, and down-home country, translated to the guitar with honesty, humor and depth.

Clean, driving, melodically pure compositions are his trademark. His style expands the boundaries of the folk genre, reflect the far-reaching impact and current popularity of the acoustic guitar. Pat’s CD Kentucky Guitar was named one of the “Top 59 Acoustic Albums of 1996” by Japan’s Player Magazine, and Pat was honored to be named one of “The Next Generation of Hot New Acoustic Acts" by Acoustic Guitar Magazine in the December 1997 issue.
