Die Soundville Studios wurden 1980 von René Zingg in Luzern als Einzelfirma gegründet. Nach diversen erfolgreichen Aufnahmen mit Bands wie z.B. Mainstreet, Phil Carmen & Mike Thompson, Hanery Amman und Span (Louenesee) wurde 1982 die Firma in eine AG überführt. Weitere Produktionen unter anderen mit Vera Kaa und Steve Whitney Band sowie unzähligen Werbespots und Industrieproduktionen folgten.
