On May 31st 2005, Oasis return with a brand new album entitled Don't Believe The Truth on Epic Records. Don't Believe The Truth is the sixth Oasis studio album - their first since Heathen Chemistry, released in 2002.
Oasis will revisit the U.S. for the first time since the summer of 2002, playing their biggest U.S. shows to date. For all other Oasis shows visit www.oasisinet.com.
Oasis - Liam Gallagher (Vocals), Noel Gallagher (guitar, vocals), Gem Archer (guitar) and Andy Bell (bass) - have sold in excess of 33 million albums worldwide. Their five previous studio albums, Definitely Maybe (1994), What's The Story (Morning Glory) (1995), Be Here Now (1997), Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants (2000) and Heathen Chemistry (2002), have defined Oasis as one of the most important bands to come out of the UK in the last decade.
With their UK single, "Lyla," picked, Noel Gallagher states, ''It's The Who. 'Lyla' was specifically designed for pogoing. We wrote 66 tracks and 'Lyla' was one that we revisited late on and it's ended up on the album. I'm happy with every track on the album."
