Paradigm Shifter is a beat shifting delay mangler with lots of modulation options. Here's the features in order of signal routing:
-Shifter Section: Shifts the sound in various ways, depending on the
shifter's waveform. When used on beats, the rythm will slow down, speed up
and even have reverse effects.
-Delay Section: The signal is then fed to the BPM synced delay, where you
can limit the delay into distortion.
-Sequencers: Both the shifter and delay are sequenced using two 8-step
sequencers. The shifter sequencer controls the shifting rate and depth.
The delay sequencer controls the delay time and feedback.
-Delay Mixer: The delay is sent to a mixer that lets you choose two delay
times, and then crossfade between them. Though the delay time is mainly
affected by the sequencer, the mixer lets you specify the maximum delay time in seconds.
-Filter Section: The signal is then sent to a filter, which can affect only
the shifter, only the delay, or both. The filter consists of: 2 pole highpass,
4 pole highpass, bandpass, 2 pole lowpass, and 4 pole lowpass.
All of which can be used one at a time, simultaneously, or none at all.
-LFO Section: The LFO section is part of a multi-function panel along with
the sequencer section. This is where you can modulate almost any
parameter with 3 LFOs. Also BPM synced. Each LFO is switchable on/off.
-Panning: Lastly the delay is sent to two panners, one left and one right,
allowing the delay to be centered, or split into left and right panning.

Echomania:
Besides being a CPU hog this plug-in goes further than most (all?) real tape delay machines. It's capable of stereo delays, ping pong delays, multitap delays and complex delay textures.
tape model including tape saturation, tape noise, flutter, low and high pass filtering
4 separate delay lines which can be configured for various delay types (Try out the preset programs as examples. Also see the included signal diagram "diagram.jpg" to understand the structure of this effect)
delay times can either be defined in milliseconds or in relation to the song tempo in your sequencer. (switchable for each delay line)
all parameters are controllable by midi controllers.
pop-up hints help to understand the function of each control on the user interface. These appear when the mouse rests over a control.
Also the assignement of midi controllers is documented in the pop-up hints.

A simple stereo ping pong delay plugin.
I wrote this primarily as an exercise in learning about writing AUs, and I'm happy to make the source code available so others can get started too.

Analog delay: It consist in a delay unit followed by a 2nd order lowpass filter with saturation. The delay-time can evolve between 0 and max-delay which lets you be very accurate. You can also synchronise the delay to the tempo with different resolutions from 1/128 to 1 bar and control the way the delay-time is interpolated with the kind of interpolation and the time-constant.
I won't maintain this one anymore in its state, but I am recoding it to be much cleaner than it is right now.
I should add for v2:
a feedback path selector (ping-pong,paralelle...)
Dynamic FFT delay:
Do things with the FFT algorithm which it isn't designed for..... and have some fun. :D
I made this plugin with the 'FFTReal realtime wrapper' from Jaap Westerop. Working together at the HKU in a Music Technology Masters group demiurge.hku.nl
The 'Dynamic FFT delay is the first of the FFTfun range.
The 6 knobs represent:
The delay. This works like any other allpass delay.
1. Delay (maximum delay 4,64 seconds)
2. Feedback (mix the output back into the input)
Modulate the delaytime with freqency and amplitude settings
3. Modulation freq
4. Modulation amplitude
5. FFT bin delay
The modulation which you set with knob 3 and 4 can be delayed per bin for every FFT. Starting with bin 0. With a maximum delay of 128 bins.
6. Dry/wet
Mix beteween the original signal and the effect.
Karlette: "tape-loop" echo emulation.
Each of the four replay "tape heads" has separate pan and high-frequency roll-off controls, steinberg.
