particle fountain
Description
Particle Fountain: A monophonic synth which attaches a sound (either a sawtooth or a square wave) to a bunch of particles, which move in a 2d space like a fountain. The particles' position in the space then determines certain aspects of the sound (frequency, amplitude, panning). There can be up to 200 particles in use at any one time.

A newer version of the Ring polysynth. SuperRing boasts more of the same but with better filters, more complex modulation options and Delay based effects. While offering greater flexibility it loses none of the trademark Ring sound... includes 32 presets with 16 from the infamous vurt http://www.vurt.dsl.pipex.com/ Now updated to Ver 2 with improved CPU usage and 'cleaner' sound.

You can do nicely nasty basses and leads, distorted pads and sequence and some just basically weird sounds with it.
Features of Rock
Two oscillators and two filters. Oscillators can be used in additive , ring mod , FM and sync modes, filters in 12/24db low/high/bp/br mode with interfilter distortion
Each oscillator can used sine,tri,sqr,saw,noise or 2 user waves. Lots of shaping options for the oscillators , such as feedback (normal or inter-osc), symmetry , rectification, limit boosting, sub-osc
4 unison oscillators , each can be detuned to created richer sounds, chords etc
Works in poly,mono and legato modes with 2 portmento modes
16 slot modulation matrix , all the controls are modulatable with envelopes, lfos , step sequences, midi cc, velocity, note etc
3 seven stage envelopes, 3 multi-wave LFO's and two 16 step sequences
You can create your own user waves using 32 partial additive synthesis , hundreds of these waves are inclued with Rock and you can save your own to disk
Six effects , delay/chorus, reverb, distortion+amp, compressor, 2 band eq, low-fi . You can set the order these effects are applied and there is FX feedback so the output of the effect is feed back into the fx path
Gui is totally skinable, comes with two skins

Think Ol' Skool Detroit, Roland TB-303™, Radioshack Electronics Learning Lab™, and a half-dead 9V battery, meets the underground technology from a dark civilization of the distant future. (use your imagination.)
Rogue™ is comprised of 6 sections:
-Wave Controls: Select between Saw or Square waveforms. Pitch controls consist of octave, coarse, and fine controls. Unison, mix, and tone controls are also available.
-LFO Controls: This is just a standard LFO with various destinations. Rogue's™ LFO features a delay, that allows you to "fade-in" the LFO's effect.
-Lowpass Filter Controls: A standard low pass filter with resonance.
-Assignable Envelope Controls: The assignable envelope can be routed to nearly any of Rogue's™ other controls via its dual destination slots. It also features a unique "Step Mode" that creates varying levels of hard stepping through the envelope's range.
-MIDI/Modulation Controls: Allows you to enable the accent control and envelope retrigger, adjust the accent amount, set the bend range, glide time, and modulation amount/source/destination. Features dual destination slots and enable controls.
-Distortion/Master Controls: Rogue's™ unique distortion controls and final tone/volume controls.
Rogue™ is a raspy, fried transistor, dropped on the ground a couple of times, bass/lead VSTi based on the slightly overdone subtractive synth concept. But what makes it unique is its ability to fry its own output in a lovingly controlled manner making it so much fun to play, you may not even notice it's just a bunch of saw (or square) waves being sent through a couple of lowpass filters.
