In the 80s Peter Diezel started to modify Marshalls in Munich, where he lived and studied electrics/electronis and graduated. He played in several bands and met pro-musician Peter Stapfer.
In 1993 Diezel Amplification GmbH was founded by Peter Diezel and Peter Stapfer.
In 1994 the very first VH4 was introduced. Those are easily to identify with their blue frontpanels.
In the following years the VH4 was further optimized until in
2002 the new model called "Herbert" (named after Peter Diezel`s father) was introduced.
In 2003 the lab/factory was moved from Munich to Bad Steben (Bavaria), where Peter is working and living now.
With the success of VH4 and Herbert (getting awards from musicians magazines all over the world) many pro-musicians demanded for an expansion of the Diezel portfolio.
in 2005 the new model called after Diezel`s dog Einstein was launched on NAMM. Available at your local dealer now you can choose between the 100 Watts head or the 50 Watts combo or head versions ...
