A fairly simple delay plugin which also has a 'Rhythmic Mode'. Basically this alters the delay time in a sequence using very short delay times, which gives a characteristic 'metallic' sound, and effectively allows you to turn previously un-pitched sounds (such as a drum loop), into pitched sequences. Also syncs to the host's tempo, although it should be noted that some older hosts do not support this feature of the VST specification.

GDuckDly is a digital delay that allows the wet signal to be compressed by the dry signal.
Using high levels of feedback in a digital delay can create a busy sound. This can obscure the original, dry signal. In particular, it can make vocal tracks incomprehensible.
The compression in GDuckDly is configured so that the effect is turned down when the dry signal sounds. When the dry signal is quiet the effect is turned back up. This allows the dry signal to be heard over even extreme delay effects.
Parameters
Delay: The length of the delay.
Feedback: The level of the delayed signal that is fed back into the delay line.
Dry: The output level of the dry input signal.
Effect: The output level of the delayed signal.
Attack: The attack of the wet signal compression.
Release: The release of the wet signal compression.
Amount: The amount of compression to apply.

Big Blue Delay VST: Big Blue Delay is a multi-delay VST effect. It has 4 stereo delay modules, which can optionally be synced to the host application tempo.
As usual, currently this is Windows PC only. It was developed with the JUCE open source framework.
Features:
4 Stereo delay modules with independant delay, tone, feedback, pan, and mix controls
Sync to host option
Fully automatable parameters

Multi-delays with modulations on seven outputs channels :
- sixteen independant delay lines
- graphic settings of time and feedback
- three acceleration curves
- individual mutes
- global time and feedback settings
- time modulation oscillator with 15 waveforms, with inertia value for smooth textures
- six graphic "snapshots" (4 for times and 2 for feedbacks)
- bidimensional control surface for easy recall of the snapshots and "morphing" of between them, with 10 interpolation curves and inertia setting
- individual spatial position of the 16 delays inside a 2D space
- free arrangement of 7 speakers, compatible with the 5.0 to 7.0 standards
- spatial area seetings for each delay for precise and effective imaging
- MIDI Learn fonction
- 128 patchs
Freeware version : full featured but limited to 8 delay lines instead of 16.
Echomania:
Besides being a CPU hog this plug-in goes further than most (all?) real tape delay machines. It's capable of stereo delays, ping pong delays, multitap delays and complex delay textures.
tape model including tape saturation, tape noise, flutter, low and high pass filtering
4 separate delay lines which can be configured for various delay types (Try out the preset programs as examples. Also see the included signal diagram "diagram.jpg" to understand the structure of this effect)
delay times can either be defined in milliseconds or in relation to the song tempo in your sequencer. (switchable for each delay line)
all parameters are controllable by midi controllers.
pop-up hints help to understand the function of each control on the user interface. These appear when the mouse rests over a control.
Also the assignement of midi controllers is documented in the pop-up hints.
