Bei unserer Mastering Suite wurden keine Mühen und Kosten gescheut , Ihnen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. So wurde zum Beispiel als Wärme- und Schalldämmung keine Rockwool verwendet, sondern die ökologisch einwandfreie Schafswolle, die sogar bessere akustische Eigenschaften aufweist wie Rockwool. Die Boxenspezialisten der Firma EMES verwenden übrigens auch für ihre Produkte Schafswolle wegen der überragenden Qualität. Die äußere Schale der Mastering Suite ist freistehend, gelagert auf gummi-gepufferten Punktfundamenten. Überall, beim äußeren Mantel und dem Innenausbau wurde nur ausgesuchtes Vollholz verwendet.
Absorber und Helmholz-Resonatoren wurden nach entsprechenden Akustik-Messungen montiert, das Ergebnis ist ein Referenzraum, der keine Wünsche mehr offen läßt ...

The Neve Room...is a studio without walls - the control room and performance area occupy the same space.
The advantage of this approach is that communication between artist, producer and engineer is intuitive and instantaneous. It is particularly helpful at the start of a project when the producer and artist need to form an instant rapport.
There are three isolated rooms to facilitate seperation. The main recording space is large (28' x 38' x 30') but not cavernous with a beautiful, natural ambience. The stunning views of the Ashokan reservoir don't hurt either!
Equipment is centered around a Fred Hill-restored Neve 8068, Studer A 827 16/24 Trk, ATC SCM 150 Monitors and Pro Tools HD.
