Sand Creek Music: recording studio, mastering, broadcast, located in Albany, New York.
The studio is equipped with an outstanding 40-track recording facility for the serious musician, producer, or audio/video professional. Designed primarily for live instrumental and vocal production, the studio will handle jazz trios to 20-piece orchestras to heavy metal bands with acoustic excellence. The console is a 40 input Yamaha with 8 stereo mix busses, enabling mixes in all of the stereo and surround formats. The 1000 square foot studio features 16 channels of preamplifiers/limiting, as well as 10' x 16' and 10' x 12' isolation rooms and a comfortable control room.
For the past ten years, the music industry has witnessed a quest for loudness rather than audio fidelity. Every record company wants to make their hit record louder than the next. When will it end? Unfortunately, it probably won't be in the near future. Since there is no end in site, Sand Creek Mastering will stay in the race and make your CD loud so that it can compete with everything else on the market.
Flowers Studio is a professional 24 track analog and digital recording studio located in the Uptown area of Minneapolis, Minnesota, owned and operated by producer Ed Ackerson.
Flowers Studio opened in 1998 as a no-compromise, artists-first recording facility. Designed with the idea that comfort and environment are as essential as excellent equipment to the ultimate success of a project, Flowers provides both extraordinary ambiance and exceptional analog and computer-based audio recording.
Located in the Uptown area of Minneapolis in an extensively redesigned florist's warehouse, Flowers makes great use of the building's architectural assets. The large control room, 3 iso booths, and 28'x33'x20' main tracking room accommodate ensembles of varying sizes in bright, naturally-lit spaces. Clients can often be found between takes relaxing in the 20'x70' greenhouse patio located directly outside the control room.
In addition to its vintage Trident console, Studer 24 track machine and ProTools HD2 Accel system, Flowers has a vast collection of recording gear and musical equipment available for the use of its clients. From the latest computer-based audio/video/virtual instrument production to old school analogue multitrack techniques, Flowers has the finest gear, expertise and imagination to get awesome results. Our ever-growing list of credits and track record of successful projects are testimonials to the unique combination of technology and artistry provided here.
Flowers Studio owner Ed Ackerson has a wide base of experience as producer, engineer, performer and composer. The 2005 MMA Producer of the Year has worked on an enormous range of projects for independent and major label artists, using a wide array of techniques to help realize the imaginations of his varied clientele. Ed, his staff and community of freelance engineers use the equipment and space at Flowers Studio to full effect, making visiting artists and producers feel welcome and free to create.
