SBleepo2 is a VST simulation of the hardware-based Death Synth. It has its own sequencer, two oscillators, and about 15 combination metrics to join them. Oscillator A can be a live input or a square / saw, Oscillator B can be a square or saw. You can change pulse width, the frequency multiplier, the oscillator sync amount, and portamento. You can change the length of each sequencer, or how long they ring out for. You can adjust the volume of the entire mess (thank heavens!) You can set the number of measures before it "returns to 0." You can set the BPM.
There is also something called "Arpeggimonics," which might be a bit hard to explain. You can turn that off if you don't like it.
free vst plugin, mac, pc.
Transcender has minimal controls for fast and easy tweaking, but there's a lot going on inside, it features a single slider to mathematically detune a large bank of oscillators mixed in stereo through twin low pass filters, there's a slider on the output to control the stereo width. Transcender was primarily designed for trance leads, but can produce quite a range sounds.

Two VA style oscillators, square sub oscillator and a noise osc.
Modulation with host sync and an envelope generator, provide a choice of many destinations.
Two different moog style filters allow you to choose each one independantly run them parallel or serial.
Tube overdrive and distortion, with control of the tube hard/soft amount.
Auto pan synced to 1/2. 1/4 and eighth notes on the BPM setting, can be applied to the main oscillator and the delay seperately.
A mono delay with modulation and a low pass filter, synced to the BPM setting.
A reverb with limited control is also provided.
Audio trigger section consists of only two knobs, (Gate) which sets the gates strength (Decay) which sets the gates time re-trigger. (Please read the manual)
128 presets to get you started.
EffEm:
The son of S.F.U.M. arrives... With much use of host sync to bpm and with an unusual filter array effem takes up wher S.F.U.M left off. Much rythmic mayhem and electric fun to be had here...
