A monster Synth and sequencer combo..
Overview:
Three VCO Synth with many routing options and a fully programmable step sequncer synced to the bpm of the vst host application. Currently available for testing in beta form.

My First Step Sequencer is a simple 16-(or 8-)step sequencer aimed at children. It was designed in conjunction with spacedad (from kvr) and Jacky Lee, and comes with a shuffle mode and a note randomise button, as well as a scale-forcing control, to make it so that you can only select notes within a particular scale.

Controls for each step (direction, octave, semitone, fine, attack, decay, release, filt amt, pan and volume)
4 Divisions (1/2, 1/4, 1/8 or 1/16)
4 step choices (2, 4, 8 or 16)
Program/pattern can be chosen on the GUI, from the host's patch change, or via MIDI (note-on C2-B4)
Global release and volume
4 LFO's with a 4x10 matrix
Filter (bp, br, hp, lp and moog type)
Distortion
Delay with seperate filter and distortion

Stepbeater is based on the code from Stepchild, a step sequencer created by Modulr. It has gained additional features and evolved into stepbeater.

Midi CC Controllers.
KeyboardShortcuts: (v)elocity (s)hift (g)ate (a)lternate (t)ranspose.
Mouse Dragging enabled across parameter grid. Previously a click was required per adjustment.
Template preset loading to enable loading drum maps independently from patterns.
Double Clicking now switches notes between normal and random notes in the note grid.
Other miscellaneous bug fixes.
