My musical career started with Gigs in most of Boston's infamous Clubs. The Hi-Hat, Wally's Paradise, The Savoy, Storyville and the Old Howard Burlesque in Scollay Square (which inspired me to write the Legendary Hit, "Remember Ol' Scollay Square" . It was not long before I got restless again and went on to New York to play at the famed Birdland Jazz Club, The Ember Club, The Gaslight, The Copacabana and the oh so swanky Pierre Hotel. I loved the long Jazz Bar at The Metropole in Times Square and yes, The Stork Club, just to name a few. The long ride on the "Milk Train" from Boston to New York became more frequent.
New York was reeling with up and coming Talents like Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, my close buddies legendary D.J. Alan Freed and Murray "The K" Kaufman, Morton Downey, Jr and so many others ...
