Sinister Dexter is a 12-piece swing, funk, and blues horn band dedicated to having fun and helping people get down. We
perform anywhere in the Bay Area, and would be happy to do so for you!
Long, long ago in a movie theatre far, far away (in the spring of 1998), Kevin, Jon, and Don were put on a Mission from God to form a blues band. "The Band!" they spake, reverently. At the same time, in a completely different theatre, Patrick, Josh, Adam, and Amit envisioned a funky swing band. "Vegas, baby! Vegas!" they spake, reverently. Fate stepped in, made the two theatres as one, and after a moment of extreme confusion Sinister Dexter was born.
Yet he was nameless ...

The band's founder and business manager, Richard has many years of experience as a band leader. He calls the tunes and covers the bottom end with his Big Baritone Sax. Richards is the one who keeps the band going.
" Swing Shift " consists of 12 members, a 6 piece horn section: Bari sax, Tenor sax, Alto sax, Trombone, 2 Trumpet's, & a 5 piece Rhythm section consisting of guitar, bass, keyboard, drums & 2 lead vocalist! We will swing you all night long! Our sound is one of the "hottest" swing sound's in California!
