Professional Sound Manufacturer, Meyer Sound, Speakers, Sound Reinforcement, Live Sound.
Established by John and Helen Meyer in 1979, Meyer Sound has been at the forefront of innovation in audio engineering for over two decades. From the outset, Meyer Sound looked beyond loudspeaker cabinet design to create totally integrated, systems-comprehensive solutions that encompass transducer design, signal processing, power amplification and even electroacoustic measurement systems. As a result, Meyer Sound's engineering teams have earned an enviable reputation for developing unique, innovative solutions to some of the most difficult problems confronting audio professionals.
In fact, it is fundamental to John Meyer's philosophy that no component of a system should be compromised in order to compensate for variables "upstream" or "downstream." Instead, the entire system should be conceived, designed, tested, confirmed and manufactured as a whole to provide the optimum blend of audio fidelity, utility and long-term reliability ...

KRK Systems was founded in 1986, by Keith Klawitter. He had been an engineer for years working on such films as "Brainstorm" and "The Doors". Frustrated by the fact he couldn't find a monitor that gave him clarity and accuracy, he began building his own monitors. Other engineers and producers began to take notice of Keith's high-end studio monitors, a groundswell began and a company was born. They also began commissioning him to build custom main systems as well. We attribute this remarkable beginning to Keith's affinity for electronics, his passion for music, and his originality and insight.
"It's the synergy of our vision, our real studio experience and our fanatical attention to quality that gives KRK its edge."
Keith Klawitter.
The millennium has brought changes and growth to the company. KRK has become one of the most highly respected names in the studio world. Our products have earned an exclusive position along side the most elite audiophile-quality products. The finest components are combined with superior cabinet design, driver technology, crossover interfacing, and amplifier technology. For example our 5.1 surround systems are tolerance matched to within 0.05dB! KRK is now a Stanton company, and this gives us room to grow and achieve new heights. We're very excited about what the future holds.
The bottom line is your ears. We do exhaustive listening tests to insure what's going to tape or disc is what you're hearing through the monitors. More importantly, KRK Systems designs speakers that translate to the real world. When you mix on KRK speakers, you don't get any surprises when you play your mix on your car stereo.
Earthworks was formed by David Blackmer, the brilliant inventor and founder of dbx™, where he invented new technologies in VCAs and true RMS detectors for companders and compressors. At Earthworks his passion focused on inventing new technologies for microphones, preamplifiers and monitor speakers. These new advanced, patented technologies provide Earthworks with the ability to manufacture the “next generation” of professional audio products that will significantly outperform any other quality professional audio equipment on the market.
Those who use Earthworks microphones, amplifiers and monitor speakers refer to them as “stunning,” “most impressive” and “life changing.” This is because Earthworks advanced technologies provide a dramatic increase in audible quality. Reviews of Earthworks products in the press have been superlative. We are much more excited by the excellent results people achieve when using our equipment ...
