Maxdb are a music production team with UK chart success. Based in Suffolk; key personnel are Mark Newby and Paul Wilson. With extensive experience in the music industry and a proven track record of over 3 million units sold, this team continues to produce great music.
Maxdb operates from a suffolk studio approximately one hour from London. Affectionately known as 'The Bunker' it is small but well equipped. Although it was originally intended as a writers demo studio, it is capable of creating record masters. The SixChix remix was created here.
Any final master mix will not be optimised for release. A further process (mastering) is required to achieve a 'pressing' master.
If a record is for release Pete Reynolds Mastering is used. Known as 'the best ears in the business', Pete uses Pro-Tools, Sound Tools and Sonic Solutions and a multiple array of monitors - from JBL's to Auratones.
