Perky: Practical Use = Live Percussion Manipulation.
Load up some drums, I suggest Odo's Dr. Fusion (because it kicks massive ass that's why) and then allocate it to an FX channel. Now, load Perky! up as an effect on said channel, and start up your sequencer. Once you've got a good rhythm goin' start screwin' with Perky! first by moving the right heart around till you've got a good bit of feedback. Now, grab the left heart and go apeshit! Try to tweak in some sort of "timing" with the beat for maximum useful weirdness. Oh, and Perky!'s the first DarkWare plug that actually has presets, 5 to be exact, so enjoy them. They are good starting points for tweakiness.
Snorgan combines a waveform (selected from an internal bank of sixteen) with a secondary harmonic tone. The combined signal is sent through dual 2-pole filters and a delay/flanger effect. The filters' cutoff frequencies and the delay length can be modulated by low frequency oscillators.
El Fuego has but one desire, to burn your audio to ashes.
You might love the phoenix which rises ...
El Fuego likes to scorch slow drum beats with plenty of spaces between the hits. However, if you so desire to accommodate some quick flams and rolls, manipulate lever N in real time! You will achieve.
Tempo sync reverser:
Reverses the sound for a set amount of time (set according to note length) when the Reverse button is pressed. Probably best in a live environment, hence the option to assign a MIDI CC or note to trigger the reversing operation.
