Can anyone imagine 'Oxygene' without the swirling tones imparted by the Eminent 310 and Small Stone Phaser? Likewise, what would Lonnie Liston Smith’s 'Expansions' have sounded like without that effervescent Solina?

Ohm Force is a privately owned company in Paris, France.
Ohm Force was founded in 2000 because we felt the world lacked a good fast-food company. The idea was simple. Make good sandwiches, with good looks and good taste and sell them over the Internet.
The latter idea appeared quickly to be impractical because of few raw materials availables, and the only kittens we caught were quickly adopted by OhmMen.
The aftermaths spelled D.O.O.M in wild crimson letters scorching the sky.
Yet, did we part ? Nope.
As we were all working on our resumés to apply to a well known fast-food chains (MacCatBurger, anyone ?), we noticed that many of us had an experience in software design and others designed GUIs for software. Heck ! Why not do audio plugins ? So we kept the same ideas and started development on the OhmBoyZ (we expect that if you are reading this page, you may have hint on what this OhmBoyZ is). Since those innocent times, we've gone quite a way. Our products won many prizes, are available in so many standards it'll be boring to enumerate. In late 2002, Ohm Force introduced the Plugin Standalone Applications, available for free. It's just like a cool toy : process samples or audio input through a full-fledged Ohm Force DSP. Do try these before purchase (we're sure you'll be convinced, so we're all in the "try-before-you-buy" type of things).
That's it. Of course, there are other things that we feel you might enjoy in our products :
Creativity. This is software, not hardware. Computers are powerful and cheap. The user interface of a computer is not one of a hardware rack. We can do in software insanely complex stuff that could not be done for cheap in hardware. Hence we do.
Ease of use. Not every musician is a PhD in Computer Science. We want you customer to understand how our plugins work, and quickly have fun (then be productive). MIDI, for instance, can be a real pain to setup. Ohm Force designed the AutoBind feature to remove the burden without flexibility.
Eye candy. Do you like good looking software ? We do too. In a mix of great artwork and confortable controls, Ohm Force products are designed to be used in tough situation (do you play live ? you know what I mean)
Customer support. We, Ohm Men, are also clients and buy stuff off the Internet. So we know what should be customer service and we do our best to reach this ideal.
Sound quality. All the rest with a crappy output would be useless to you. Every filter in our products is carefully crafted to give you the best sound in every situation.

4. Drumcore
Drumcore: Submersible was founded to make the music creation process easier. We're a group of musicians, composers, engineers and producers. We also happen to be business folks, software engineers, studio managers, product designers and marketing types with backgrounds at Real Networks, Opcode, Apple, Microsoft and other high-tech companies.
DrumCore arose from a basic need to quickly create drum tracks while producing music in a recording studio. The "core" technology and content started as a project within Vulcan, Inc. (www.vulcan.com), Paul G. Allen's multi-faceted parent company.
Initially, it was a search engine designed to manage an extensive collection of loop libraries, solving the real-world needs of those who manage the recording facilities there. Dealing with massive loop libraries on a daily basis was difficult. Some audio files had spotty recording quality and/or performances, and all of them were rather "cryptically" organized. Trying to use both audio loops and MIDI drum sounds made things even harder, as it required multiple products with different interfaces and features. Add to this the laborious task of getting the content into the audio workstation, and you have the ultimate "necessity is the mother of invention" scenario ...
