Steroid Bouncer:
Processor for dual-mono-stored-as-stereo audio data
"Stereo" samples not really stereo?
Sick of splitting them into two mono tracks?
Need to tame some radical "extreme panning"?
Have you ever loaded up a sample library and discovered that the "stereo" samples are not really stereo? Classic examples are:
* Upright bass with microphone on the left, piezo pickup on the right
* Bass drum with one microphone panned left, a very different one panned right
You'll know the drill: split the track into two mono tracks, process each one separately.
Have you ever needed to tame a track where the panning was just a bit too radical? The same drill.
These tracks aren't stereo, they're steroid!

3. quadpan
Quadpan mono is a utility plugin for modular programs like audiomulch and bidule. It takes a mono input and sends that to four outputs. The volume for each output is controlled by the position of a ball on the XY pad. If the ball is in the top left hand corner, the audio will only come out of the first output etc. If it is in the middle the signal is spread evenly between all the outputs. The ball can be controlled by two lfos (assigned to the X and Y co-ordinates) which allow a variety of different patterns to be created. There are 16 preset shapes included.
Quadpan stereo is the same except it takes a stereo input and each output is also stereo.

A round-panner that creates a circular panning effect by modulating the audio volume in a circle (quieter at the back, louder at the front) as it pans. Also features a low pass filter with cutoff that can also be modulated by the same signal as modulates the volume, lowering the cutoff as the signal gets quieter.
