For Johnny A., the guitar has held a lifelong fascination, her six strings exerting a powerful influence and addictive beauty since the first time he held them. The pursuit of this musical lady with the perfect shape has driven his years - shaping the course of his life – taking him places he never could have imagined. Through inspiring moments of ecstatic improvisation, deep contemplation and inevitable gaps of frustration it has been a stormy affair with a tempestuous hollow-body lover, but the marriage has been nothing less than remarkable.
Johnny A. is widely regarded as one of America's finest contemporary guitarists. Gibson thinks so – their Custom Shop designed a Signature Edition guitar per his specific requests which, when it was marketed in 2003, placed him in an exclusive club that included legends like BB King, Wes Montgomery, Chet Atkins, Joe Perry, Pat Martino and Les Paul himself. The public thinks so too - Johnny A.'s latest works have sold many thousands of copies as well as being his personal best. The most recent CD's - 2004's Get Inside and 1999's Sometime Tuesday Morning, are the critically acclaimed solo culmination of a lifetime of learning, sharing and bonding in a long parade of bands and players.

As a bright-eyed six-year old in Malden, Massachusetts, Johnny became fascinated with the drums, a habit his father encouraged by buying him a kit. There were lessons and the Jr. High School marching band, but as fun as the skins were, he realized that their melodic capability was quite limited. Rhythm had taken a backseat to melody and since the most melodic instrument in any 60's beat group was guitar, those six-strings now began their inexorable pull on Johnny A's life. Once the four “mop-tops” from Liverpool dropped like a bomb from Ed Sullivan's studio into his living room in 1964, his course was set.

A $49 Lafayette Electronics guitar became Johnny A.'s first girlfriend. A humble beginning for sure, but his mom was no fool and wanted to be safe if this ‘guitar thing' just turned out to be another passing teenage phase. It wasn't. Johnny saw the Beatles at Suffolk Downs outside of Boston in 1966 and their magical presence sent the impressionable lad into a blur of activity – sweeping up hair and doing odd jobs at his aunt's salon to save up the 88 bucks needed to buy a Vox Clubman guitar. Then, of course, he had to have a Gretsch too. No, this was no passing phase ...

Colin Arthur Wiebe grew up in Victoria, British Columbia. Having an opera singer for a father, Colin has grown up with music. He has been writing songs and singing since childhood. Colin is prominently featured on the new Randy Bachman “Every Song Tells Story DVD” and will be touring with Randy throughout 2003.
Colin Arthur Wiebe’s debut album, Livin On Dreams was produced by Randy Bachman (founder of chart-toppers The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive ) The songs are solid, well crafted, radio-friendly, and produced by the man with the midas touch. Colin's rock n' roll, pumping piano can be heard on the albums first track "Pebble In My Shoe". Randy Bachman's ringy Chuck Berry style guitars and Colin's gritty vocal compliment this infectious groove, laid down in style by veteran "Guess Who" drummer Garry Peterson. Songs with lyrics that penetrate the hearts of baby boomers, like "They Grow Up So Fast" the emotional duet with award winning female vocalist Suzanne Gitzi, continues to get airplay ...

The official Gary Moore Web Site. View latest album and tour information.Gary Moore, Guitars, Back to the Blues, Still got the Blues, Tour, New Album, The Official Web Site

Gary Moore is acknowledged as one of the finest musicians that the British Isles has ever produced. In a career that dates back to the 1960s, there are few musical genres that he has not turned his adroit musical hand to, and has graced the line-ups ever several notable rock bands, Thin Lizzy, Colosseum II and Skid Row to name but three.

Gary was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on April 4th 1952. Like many others, he was turned on to rock and roll first through hearing Elvis Presley, and then via The Beatles. Seeing the likes of Jimi Hendrix and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in his hometown in the mid-60s opened up to him the rich world of The Blues. Hearing the art of the Blues guitar performed by such lauded exponents as Peter Green fired Moore's nascent talent, and it wasn't long before he was being hailed as a teen musical prodigy. Indeed, it was Green himself who helped foster Moore's career, a debt that was repaid handsomely when Gary cut his warm and heartfelt tribute to his mentor, the 'Blues For Greeny' album, released in 1995 ...

Vivian Campbell at Xtreme Musician.

After being expelled from School at the age of 16 for being overly rebellious, Vivian Campbell joined a band called Sweet Savage. He played with them until 1982, when he successfully auditioned for Dio. After expressing differences with some of the other members of Dio, Campbell moved on to form Trinity. This band never really got off the ground, but resulted in his touring with Whitesnake in latter 1987. This, unfortunately, never resulted in any recorded material. Vivian joined the Riverdogs in the late 80's, and enjoyed some success with their self-titled album. In the early 90's, he moved on to Shadow King. In 1992, after the unfortunate demise of Steve Clark, Campbell joined Def Leppard.
