Also mastering: When you've finished your mixes and you're ready to press them up, either as a short run of CDR copies or as finished albums, then you will need to get them mastered.
Mastering will boost all the frequencies and apply some sophisticated compression which will make your stuff sound much louder, it will also normalise and optimise the EQ so everything sounds as clear and punchy as any commercial album. If you need to do edits then this is the time to do them. Each track is topped and tailed, track gaps are put in and the whole is PQ encoded to Red Book standard. This is an essential requirement before manufacturers will press your album. We guarantee you will be amazed at the results!

Monica Sanders has been playing the piano since the age of 5 when she began her studies with Deborah Mele in Santa Barbara, California. Her love of music guided her through to graduate school at Portland State University where she received her Master of Arts in Teaching Piano in 2004. She was also the recipient of the Beaux Arts Society Scholarship in 2004.
Monica has been teaching and performing in Oregon for the past 7 years. She currently teaches private piano lessons at Portland Community College, and is a certified Andover Educator.
