Swing Shift:
The band's founder and business manager, Richard has many years of experience as a band leader. He calls the tunes and covers the bottom end with his Big Baritone Sax. Richards is the one who keeps the band going.
" Swing Shift " consists of 12 members, a 6 piece horn section: Bari sax, Tenor sax, Alto sax, Trombone, 2 Trumpet's, & a 5 piece Rhythm section consisting of guitar, bass, keyboard, drums & 2 lead vocalist! We will swing you all night long! Our sound is one of the "hottest" swing sound's in California!

One of their roomates, who was currently planning a party, was tired of listening to all their talk and said, "Why don't you just get that damn band together and play at my party!" Swing Fever: San Francisco's pre-eminent swing jazz band; classic big band sound; available for weddings, corporate events, parties in northern California; national concerts and recordings.
Swing Fever's instrumentation is a bit unusual for a small-combo swing band, discarding the normal piano for a guitar, and sidestepping the trumpet in favor of a blend of trombone and two saxophones.
We feel this music is clever, fun, romantic, classy and witty. We're crazy for it. Careful, you'll catch Swing Fever, too.
