Description
a T-Rex Story
Our mission is to:
Provide musicians with extremely good professional gear, for medium money.

Our general goal is to:
- Maintain a complete line of pedals for guitar players
- Maintain a complete line of pedals for bass players

Our plan (July 1st,2005 - June 30th, 2006) is to release 7 new pedals:
- BassJuice. Smooth, delicious bass distortion. Was released mid july 2005
- M๘ller. Overdrive pedal with separate boost, will be released mid nov. 2005
- FuelTank. The Power Supply! Gives 9 volt DC, 12 volt DC and 12 volt AC. Comes with all cables, at the end of 2005
- Reverb pedal. Revolutionary warm vintage analogue reverb. Early 2006
- Death Distortion pedal. (Heavy Metal)
- Vibe. Development is taking place. Jimi Hendrix gave the original sound
- Bass Compressor. Same technology as the reverb. Transparent and vintage.

T-Rex was founded as a private company by Lars Dahl and Sebastian Jensen back in 1996. These two guys was thrilled by the MIDI standard and MIDI technology. They believed, that they could build some of the best MIDI control gear. And they did.

The first issue of the T-Rex BigFoot MIDI board was yellow. The board could control more MIDI units. Later came the T-Rex Mac1 MIDI controller build for the 19 inch rack. Lots os loops, VCA control, mixer etc. Using the BigFoot, you could now control the Mac1 placed in the rack, which again controlled almost everything mounted.

The best MIDI setup gear was sold to a lot of danish professional guitar players, back in the nineties. Most of them still use it. But the time for rack gear was running out. Players were buying more and more effect pedals. Everybody was moving away from the rack towards pedals.

Originally from a small town in western Pennsylvania, Anson Wright moved to New York City after graduating from Princeton University. In New York he composed and performed original music for acoustic guitar. Since moving to Oregon Anson has turned his focus to jazz, and he has performed throughout the Northwest and beyond. He has worked with Nancy King, Glen Moore, Jay Collins, Ron Steen, and many others. In addition to his jazz playing, his acoustic guitar compositions and his poetry have been set to modern dance. From 1987 to 1995 he was on the music faculty of Pacific University where he taught jazz improvisation and jazz history, as well as teaching guitar. He is currently teaching in the Portland area.

Anson Wright is one of the small number of jazz artists who have received critical acclaim as writers as well as musicians. Author Anais Nin praised the writing in his novel, Jericho, calling it "bottom of the sea level." The National Endowment for the Arts provided the funding for his second book, Openings. Anson's first full-length poetry book, Sandstone Monastery, was released in December of 2004 ...

Miguel Mega:
My first interest in music was when I watched a Queen concert on TV in 1981 . I started to play acoustic guitar in 1983 when I was 13 very influenced by my stepfather , Edilberto Abrão , that plays in brazillian jazz bands .I play electric guitar since I was 15 and I´ve been trying to really understand what "music" really means since then. My first work in vinyl, was in 1992 with my band Last Joker. With Last Joker I recorded one album untitled "Last Joker" and performed big venues with the greatest names of the brazilian heavy metal such as, DR. SIN , ANGRA, SEPULTURA, R.D.P., KORZUS etc... By the end of 1994 LAST JOKER broke up and I went to Los Angeles to study music business, recording thecnics and my passion: THE GUITAR!. I lived in LA for 2 years and studied guitar with Joey Tafolla (solo artist) and Jean Mark Belkadi who lectures at LAMA (Los Angeles Music Academy)and at MI (GIT) Musicians Institute. I did some production and recording courses at the Music Box Studios in Hollywood, too. I came back to Brazil in ´97 and for the very first time in my life I wanted to record an instrumental and experimental free-form album. Untitled simply "Miguel Mega" and recorded on a 4 track (analog), it was my first experience and cd release . In 1999 I came up with my 2nd solo cd, untitled "intuitive". Recorded at my private studio and all produced by myself between july 98 and january 99, it presents a fusion of my favorite styles such as blues, rock, jazz, funk , brazillian jazz and country. In my opinion , "Intuitive" sounds much more composed than "Miguel Mega", which is great because it means that I grow up as a musician ...
