Talley Trio - Southern Gospel Music's premier vocal trio/family.
Tennessee family has developed a unique, progressive sound that combines southern gospel with praise and worship, hymns, and many other styles. The hallmarks of the "Talley" sound are their lush arrangements, closely-knit harmonies, and powerful vocals.
The purpose of the Talley Trio's ministry is described by the title of their latest project, The Message. The songs on this recording are all centered on the theme of salvation and grace. The Talleys' top priority in concert is to present the gospel to the listener in song and testimony. Their professionalism and pursuit of excellence is only superseded by their ability to connect with an audience through the message of God's love, grace, and forgiveness.
Roger and Debra Talley have enjoyed many years at the forefront of gospel music. They began their individual careers with other groups in the 1970's, but from 1984 to 1993, The Talleys, consisting of Roger, Debra, and Roger's brother, Kirk, were one of Christian music's most innovative trios. An early hit, Sweeter As The Days Go By, reached the number one position on the gospel music charts. Evaughn High is no newcomer to the music arena. Evaughn has been performing to sell out audiences for over twenty years, from Opryland USA to Broadway musicals. In 1985 she performed live in jazz clubs throughout Los Angeles, California. Evaughn was one of ten finalists in Savannah, Georgia’s 1993 National Women’s Jazz Vocalist Competition and recorded her first album, Faith, in 1994. In 1998 Evaughn performed the supporting role of Mama in Once On This Island at Milwaukee’s own Skylight Opera Theater.
From 1998 – 2001, Evaughn produced and performed on the National Gospel Showcase, featuring gospel artists such as Yolanda Adams and Daryl Coley. Evaughn’s intense love for Gospel music was influenced by a personal friend and choir director who believed in her vocal abilities. Her influence led Evaughn to study Vocal Jazz at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Evaughn’s career then took a new direction.
Evaughn’s second project is two singles released April 19, 2001. The tracks are a blend of R&B and Jazz; a combination of sassy and thought provoking lyrics combined with smooth saxophone undulations performed by husband John High. The Calvarymen Quartet was formed in 1956 and has been a favorite name in Gospel Music almost from the beginning. They have represented Michigan many times at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY, and are currently featured regularly on gospel music television and radio across the United States. The Calvarymen sing in churches, county fairs, festivals, theaters throughout the US. and have been featured on some of the top venues in the nation!
Their reputation for great gospel music continues today as this group of men presents the gospel in song throughout their home state of Michigan, the north-central United States, and occasionally as far as Kentucky and Florida.
In 1976 the Michigan State Senate declared by official resolution the Calvarymen Quartet to be “Michigan’s Ambassadors of Goodwill”. More recently by official resolution, August 14, 2006 was declared “Calvarymen Quartet Sunday” in the 35th Ward of the City of Chicago by Alderman - Rey Colon ... My wife was saved when she was 27, shortly after I came to the Lord. If ever there was a complete change in a person, that was Genelle. I had a brand new woman in my life when she gave her heart to Jesus! Our road had been rough up until then and we were the least likely candidates for conversion. But God, in His mercy and love, sought us out, called us, and gave us the faith to believe and receive His Salvation!
Later, we became members of a Gospel Singing Group called, "The Witnesses." It was headed up by Jerry Schnedler, my cousin, also a preacher. He's gone home to be with the Lord now, but he had a profound effect on our lives as we traveled and ministered for years in an old Blue Bird School Bus we had fixed up to haul our equipment and the six members and families. We toured all around Oklahoma and surrounding states ...

Christine's Lighthouse Music Ministry is a music ministry of Christine Harding. It is dedicated to bringing "Jesus To All Through Music" It began in September 2000, when some dear friends asked Christine to record her music. Since childhood, Christine had dreamed of ministering for the Lord through song.
