The Treehouse Studio is owned and operated by Robert Bailey. A 25 year music industry veteran with a few gold and platinum records to his credit, Robert has toured and/or recorded with Alice Cooper, Queensryche, Gino Vanelli, Jimmy Page, Paul Janz, and many others. He was also Senior Sound Artist at Electronic Arts for 10 years, working as a sound designer, composer, and programmer. In addition to running The Treehouse, Robert is currently Senior Audio Director with Rockstar Games.Robert moved his family to Bowen Island in 2001, and began almost immediately to plan The Treehouse. Robert's vision was to have a fabulous mixing facility in a beautiful Gulf Island environment. After extensive research and collaboration with architect Mike Lightbody and legendary studio consultant John Vrtacic, construction began in the fall of 2002.
