The official website of singer and songwriter, Keath Barrie.
Keath Barrie's music is for those who remember the "good ol' days", when music spoke differently to people's hearts, emotionally and spiritually. His music is from a time when you could turn on the radio and just sit back and relax to songs that touched listerners in so many personal ways.
Keath in concert at Massey Hall
Keath's song style has been harder and harder to find on the radio today. Only a few dedicated stations out there still keep the ballad style alive, and play the crooners who sang them in decades past.
Keath has entertained people all across North America in his concerts, and has toured with top artists such as Anne Murray. He employed only the best musicians in the music business for his recordings, such as Jimmy Dale, Bobby Edwards, Rob McConnell, Peter Appleyard and Hagood Hardy, to name just a few. He recorded in the top studios across the continent producing special music that can be cherished and remembered today. His rich barotone voice has often been compared to Perry Como or Roger Whittaker.
Born in Athabasca Alberta in 1932, Keath spent much of his youth growing up in Germany, but later returned to live in Calgary, Alberta. He eventually moved to Toronto to persue his creative endeavors, working in the film industry as he gradually developed his songwriting and singing skills.
Sadly, Keath passed away in 2004, but his music still lives on and continues to touch his many fans.
From 1981 - 2003, the Big Band Trio played their unique brand of swing, jump and boogie combined with the smoothest three part vocals to enthusiastic crowds coast to coast. Robert Brodeur, guitar, Clark Brendon, upright bass and Paul Wainwright, sax were in constant demand at festivals and concerts. Their four cds are testament to their musicianship and continue to receive world wide airplay.
In 1981 Robert Brodeur, Clark Brendon and Paul Wainwright were searching for a way to play the music they love from the big band era, but in a more portable format.
And this is the result.
The smoothest three part vocal harmonies combined with their unique brand of swing, jump and boogie favourites have earned them the distinction of one of Canada's premiere swing groups.
Their three cds Wolf at the Door, Places to Go, People to See and Rent Party! are finely polished testaments to their skill and musicianship. Every show is delivered with humour and fun and their wardrobe is custom made with style to spare.

Bob Morrison Orchestra:
Formed in 1997 in Victoria, B.C., the BOB MORRISON ORCHESTRA comprises ten musicians featuring our vocalist, recording artist Sue Doman. The orchestra specializes in music from the Swing Era of the 1930's and 1940's, but our extensive music library contains many songs from the 1950's and later. All the standard dances, waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango, rhumba, samba, cha-cha-cha, rock and jive are in our repertoire. Requesting that favourite songs be included in the performance, planning your event around a theme, or taking the opportunity to sing a ballad in front of the orchestra, are just a few of the possibilities to make your occasion memorable.
The configuration of vocalist, 3 rhythm, 3 brass and 3 reeds, emulates the composition of many Swing Era dance bands. This allows for a comfortable fit into most venues. The orchestra is completely self-contained, including a microphone which is available for use by your party.
